The growth of PC gaming and streaming has transformed how we engage with games. Platforms such as Steam make it easier than ever to discover a wide variety of titles, from AAA releases to indie and international games. Gaming now means more than playing: it also means watching, streaming, creating, and connecting. Japan’s long-established game culture continues to evolve in new and diverse directions.

Starting with our official website and social channels, we will work with media partners, platforms, streamers, and creators to share updates continuously ahead of the event. Alongside Japanese media, we will also collaborate with Chinese media in cooperation with CiGA.

WePlay Expo has been held in China since 2017. Alongside hands-on gaming, it brings creators and players together and offers a wide range of cultural experiences inspired by games.

CONTENTS: Hands-on AAA and indie games (PC, console, and mobile); a large organizer-run demo area; gaming devices; merchandise and themed exhibits; stage events, talks, and community activities; Business Day (meetings, press coverage, and networking); and more.
